view from across the street

This shot was taken from the bedroom window of the house across the street from ours. We do have the better view! :)

A few words about our search

We are on the move again and with firm intentions of being there for many years to come. After a year long search we found what we had been looking for. We are moving to Arlington just above the Arlington airport (Smokey Point area). The developement is called "Woodway Heights". It is a small developement with jsut shy 1/4 acre lots and the best part we will have an totally unobstructed view of the airport, the valley and the Olympics! Be on the lookout for some sunset pictures because we are nuts for those! The home will have approx 1770 square feet, such a different from the little 980 we have been in now for a year! We have the luxury of natural gas, sewer and city water and for those of you who have ever dealt with septic systems and wells you would understand. The yard is flat so no more having to mow a sidehill and it will have a flat driveway, another item on our search. We loved our home we built in Snohomish but it got way too big, we downsized to a too small home in Monroe but kept the huge yard and the well there was awful. We have been renting a small home in Lake Stevens for a year while we look for a home that fit our extensive and collaborative check list and feel we found it, so we hope you visit our blog often and enjoy seeing our home built as much as we will. Talk to you soon!
